A loan of 150 million dollars to Sri Lanka

The World Bank has agreed to provide a loan of 150 million US dollars to Sri Lanka.
This was said by Minister Bandula Gunawardena while attending the press conference to announce the Cabinet decisions held today (06).
This loan is offered under the components of Sri Lanka's deposit insurance scheme, recapitalization and capacity building of the Central Bank and the implementation of the project.
Accordingly, the proposal presented by the President has been approved by the Council of Ministers in order to reach the relevant proposal.
