March 21 declared 'National Seafarers Day'

March 21 has been declared as National Seafarers' Day.
According to a proposal presented by the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Aviation Services, it is reported that the Cabinet has approved it.
The purpose of this is to evaluate the contribution of seafarers to the local economy of the country and to attract those who are interested in the seafaring profession.
Accordingly, it is stated that the Cabinet of Ministers has given approval to declare the 21st of March every year as the National Seafarers Day.
