Three athletes representing Sri Lanka will leave for Thailand today (28) to participate in the World Championship Weightlifting Tou ament.

 The athletes representing Sri Lanka in this tou ament are Indika Chaturanga Dissanayake, Dilanka Isuru Kumara, and Hansani Gomes.

 Indika Chaturanga Dissanayake will participate in the 73kg underweight class, Dilanka Isuru Kumara in the 55kg underweight class, and Hansani Gomes in the 49kg underweight class.

This tou ament, which will be implemented from the 31st to the 11th of April, is a tou ament to qualify for the Paris Olympic Games.
