The GCE Advanced Level examination starts today (04).
The examination department states that the examination will be held from today to next 31st.
346,976 candidates appear for this year's examination, of which 281,445 are school applicants.
The examination department stated that the number of private applicants is 65,531.
Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara mentions that all necessary arrangements for conducting the examination at 2,302 examination centers have already been planned.
