Compared to last year, the number of people infected with HIV has increased in this country. Dr. Janaki Vidanapathirana, director of Sri Lanka's National STD and AIDS Control Program and community health expert, said that people in the age group of 20–30 who are sexually active have been affected. She said this while attending a press conference held in Colombo.
