The American ambassador goes to the central bank

US Ambassador Julie Chang said in a tweet that she met the Gove or of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe, and congratulated her on getting the staff-level agreement of the Inte ational Monetary Fund.
She said that this will enable Sri Lanka to receive the second loan installment from the Inte ational Monetary Fund.
She says it is important to treat all creditor parties equally when restructuring Sri Lanka's debt.
She also points out that it is important for all parties involved to work with transparency.
