Courses on Artificial Intelligence in the Education System

A pilot project to introduce artificial intelligence courses into the education system has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The joint resolution presented by President Ranil Wickramasinghe and Education Minister Susil Premjayantha as the Minister of Technology has been approved.
This is planned to be implemented with the support of Microsoft.
Also, it has been decided that it is appropriate to introduce the proposed courses in accordance with the recommendations made by the task force that has been appointed to prepare a national strategy and plan related to artificial intelligence.
Accordingly, it is planned to implement the pilot project of introducing artificial intelligence courses in relation to general education as one of the components of the relevant strategic plan.
