The Minister of State for Women and Children's Affairs Mrs. Geetha Kumarasinghe said that the relevant parties have been informed to obtain evidence from women and children through video technology in proceedings related to sensitive cases including abuse.

The Minister of State mentioned that CCTV camera systems are also to be installed in all passenger transport service buses, drawing attention to incidents of violence and abuse.
