Police say that a special program to identify drivers committing traffic offenses in the Colombo area through CCTV cameras will be started from today (22).

Accordingly, it is going to be implemented as a pilot project in the vicinity of Colombo city from today to the coming 31st.

Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Advocate Mr. Nihal Talduwa said that legal action will be taken against the drivers who break the traffic rules.
