Teams of officers of the Criminal Investigation Department are receiving a statement from former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Advocate Mr. Nihal Talduwa said that this statement is being obtained in relation to the investigations being carried out regarding the process of importing controversial substandard antibody vaccines into Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, a team of officers from the Criminal Investigation Department went to Mr. Keheliya Rambukwella's house at around 10:00 this mo ing and started taking relevant statements.

Mr. Keheliya Rambukwella had said that if they want to get a statement from him, the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department can meet him and get that statement.
