Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena said that the COPE committee meetings were suspended until further notice.

He said this while replying to a query made by opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa.

Mr. Abeywardena said that the committee meetings will resume after solving the current problem.
