The Cabinet sub-committee requests a meeting of the ICC

Sri Lanka has requested to be given an opportunity to discuss with the Inte ational Cricket Council regarding the ban on Sri Lankan cricket.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said in parliament today (17) that the request was made by the cabinet sub-committee appointed by the president.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe recently appointed the cabinet sub-committee under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister Ali Sabri.
Ministers Tiran Alas, Manusha Nanayakkara and Kanchana Wijesekara are included for that.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said in the Parliament today that everyone in the Parliament should put aside the differences between the parties and the opposition to solve the Sri Lankan cricket problem.
