The Sri Lankan Customs states that the revenue ea ed by the customs last October has exceeded 109 billion rupees.

It is reported that this is the highest revenue ever ea ed by Customs in a month.

Customs Media Spokesperson Sivali Arukgoda states that streamlining and making the tax collection process efficient was the main reason for the increase in revenue and the total customs revenue is expected to exceed 925 billion this year.
