Dengue larvae are found in 45 locations in Batticaloa

Director of the National Dengue Control Bureau, Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne and other officials have been on an observation tour in the Batticaloa district yesterday (5).
It is stated that this was carried out as a surprise raid by the National Dengue Control Bureau, Public Health Inspectors and Regional Health Service Office officials.
Accordingly, the Superintendent of Police Office, Samurdhi Bank, Batticaloa Municipal Council, Batticaloa Municipal Council Mangalarama Vihara and other non-gove mental organizations of the Batticaloa Headquarters Police Area had observed.
Entomologist Darshini Kannathan of the Batticaloa Regional Health Service Bureau said that 45 places where dengue larvae spread and spread were identified.
It is reported that during the operation carried out in the above mentioned places, the places where dengue was prevalent were identified.
