Dengue cases are on the rise

According to the National Dengue Control Unit, 3710 dengue cases have been reported so far in 2024.
This year, the highest number of dengue cases have been reported from Colombo district, 802.
671 dengue cases have been reported from Jaffna district and 337 dengue cases have been reported from Gampaha district.
Accordingly, the National Dengue Control Unit announces that every possible measure should be taken to prevent the spread of dengue.
