Dengue deaths rise to 38

The Gove ment Information Department says that the number of people who have died due to dengue infection has increased to 38 in the year 2023.
The number of dengue cases reported so far is 64,816.
The number of dengue cases reported in October is 333.
The highest number of dengue cases this year was recorded in June, with 9,916 dengue cases.
Accordingly, 08 medical officer divisions of 04 provinces have been designated as risk zones and Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Puttalam, Kurunegala, Ratnapura, and Kegalle districts are among them.
