A special discussion is scheduled to be held today (22) regarding the decisions taken against the suspension of a group of Electricity Board employees.

Nearly a hundred trade unions representing all the regions of the country are scheduled to participate in these discussions, which are being held under the leadership of the Ceylon Electricity Board Trade Unions.

This discussion is scheduled to be held this mo ing at 09 in Maradana area.

Meanwhile, the trade unions have also taken steps to start a handout distribution campaign in front of the Ceylon Electricity Board head office at 07 this mo ing.

It is also stated that civil organizations have planned to conduct a protest campaign in front of the Ceylon Electricity Board headquarters today at 12 noon.
