Electricity and Energy Minister Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera says that it is expected to revise the electricity bill in January.

Making a special statement in the Parliament today (09), the Minister said that although the electricity bill will be revised again next April, with the rains this month, it is possible to revise the hydroelectric power plants.

The minister said that the committee will meet on the 12th regarding the reduction of the electricity bill, and if there are any proposals regarding the reduction of the electricity bill, they should be presented there.
