Ceylon Electricity Employees Union says that a three-day protest action has been planned from tomorrow (03) against the proposed bill for the restructuring of the Electricity Board.

Its Chief Secretary Mr. Ranjan Jayalal said that he would inform the Minister of Power to withdraw the relevant bill immediately.

Meanwhile, Mr. Ratna Gamage, the national organizer of the All Ceylon Common Fishermen's Federation, said that his industry is in crisis through the new Fisheries Act.
