UN Secretary-General says Gaza must be allowed to reach civilians amid Israeli bombardment and blockade.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says we need swift and unhindered humanitarian access now.
Meanwhile, the White House announced that the United States is in talks with Israel, the United Nations and Egypt about providing some aid and allowing residents to leave.
After Israel stopped the supply of electricity as well as the supply of medicines, food, fuel and water, the only power plant in the Gaza Strip has now been closed due to lack of fuel.
