IMF representatives on a visit to the North

A group including Mr. Peter Brewer, Head of Sri Lanka Senior Mission of the Inte ational Monetary Fund, who is on an official visit to Sri Lanka, has visited the Northe Province.
In the Northe Province Gove or's Office, Northe Province Gove or Mrs. P. S. M. Charles met the delegation of the Inte ational Monetary Fund.
They inquired about the current situation of people's life and development activities in the Northe Province.
The proposals that can be implemented for the economic empowerment of the people living in the Northe Province, the development of infrastructure in the area, and the improvement of the living conditions of the people have been discussed here.
Mrs. Charles has also said that the gove ment is currently implementing a planned program to improve the living conditions of the people of the north and empower them economically.
