Information received about the missing Sri Lankan in Israel

Mr. Nimal Bandara, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, says that information has now been revealed about the other Sri Lankan missing during the Hamas attack on Israel.
Accordingly, the ambassador stated that the Foreign Ministry of Israel has officially informed that Mr. Sujith Yatawara Bandara is suspected to be among the Hamas hostages.
However, it is said that investigations are underway regarding whether there is a match between the DNA samples given by Mr. Yatawara Bandara's children and the corpses.
It is reported that the number of missing persons earlier was 222, but the number is 239 in the updated data.
Four people abducted by the Hamas organization have been released and one Israeli soldier has been rescued during the operations carried out by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.
