The police say that the justice operation to arrest drug dealers and gang members will resume from today (27) as before.

Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Nihal Talduwa said that due to the deployment of police officers for special duties for the festive season, operations had to be reduced for 03 days.

As of the last 25th, 13,666 people involved in drug cases had been arrested by the 'Justice' operation, and 1,097 of them had been referred for rehabilitation, the police said.
