Plans to add one generator from Norochchole to the national system

One of the generators in Norochchole power plant, which is in an inactive state, is scheduled to be added to the system today (11) after repairs.
As of yesterday (10) afte oon, all the three generators of the power plant were in an inactive state and the repair work had started immediately.
The Ceylon Electricity Board stated that two generators had been disabled the previous day due to repair work and the other generator also became disabled due to the power cut.
Accordingly, after the repair work, one of the generators, which was at an inactive level, will be activated and will be added to the electricity system today.
