The Public Utilities Commission is scheduled to meet today (22) to discuss the electricity tariff revision.

Recently, the Ceylon Electricity Board gave the proposal regarding tariff revision to the Public Utilities Commission.

There, a final decision will be taken after discussing the proposal and after getting public comments, the utility commission will also add its comments.

After that, the proposal will be made public for a period of 03 weeks.

A public consultation session will be held after that time.

After that, the new proposal will be given to the Sri Lanka Electricity Board after combining all the proposals.
