Yesterday (19) President Ranil Wickremesinghe engaged in bilateral discussions with several leaders and representatives of countries in the Global South in the African region in conjunction with the Non-Aligned Nations Conference being held in Kampala, Uganda.

A meeting between President Ranil Wickramasinghe and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa was held yesterday (19) afte oon.

Here, the South African President welcomed President Ranil Wickremesinghe very cordially, and later the two leaders joined the bilateral discussions.

Meanwhile, Tanzania's Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa also met President Ranil Wickremesinghe and discussed the expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Also, Bahamas Prime Minister Philip Davis, Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Benin People's Gove ment Vice President Mariam Chabi Talata also met President Ranil Wickremesinghe and engaged in bilateral discussions.
