Mr. Ranil Wickremesinghe, who participated in the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, has arrived in the island.

Airport sources stated that the President arrived in the island last night (04).

President Ranil Wickremesinghe left the island on the mo ing of the 30th to attend the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Dubai.

During this visit, the President addressed the Climate Change Conference and the proposal for a Climate Justice Forum was also presented.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe also officially announced the Inte ational University Project on Climate Change at this conference.

The Presidential Media Division stated that the President held bilateral talks with the heads of state of many countries along with the conference.
