The Ministry of Education says that the first phase of the third school term of the year 2023 in gove ment schools and gove ment-approved private schools will end today.

The ministry said that the second phase of the third school term will start on February 1 next year.

This long school holiday is due to the 2023 General Certificate of Studies A-level examination.

The examination department stated that the advanced level examination is scheduled to be held in 2,298 centers across the island from the 4th to the 31st of January.
