Colombo Additional Magistrate Mrs. Rajindra Jayasuriya has withdrawn the order given to two insurance companies to suspend the payment of insurance money for Mr. Dinesh Shafter who died mysteriously for a period of one week.

The Additional Magistrate has declared that the order will be withdrawn as the court feels that there is no longer any need to suspend the payment of insurance money to the conce ed parties.

The magistrate has also stated that no other party is trying to get the compensation money.

As Mr. Shafter's death has been confirmed to be a crime, the Magistrate had given the relevant order in the last case considering a request made by the Homicide and Organized Crime Division to issue an order to suspend the payment of insurance compensation to the relevant parties for a period of one week.
