A discussion between the President of Sri Lanka and the President of France

A bilateral discussion has been held between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The President's Media Division says that there was an exchange of ideas for a green transformation of the Sri Lankan economy.
And the strengthening of France's relationship with the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) has also been discussed.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has invited the French President to join with Sri Lanka in establishing an inte ational university on climate change.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe is also attending the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference or COP 28 main conference in Dubai and this meeting has taken place simultaneously.
The conference was started yesterday (01) at Expo City in Dubai with the participation of heads of state and representatives of 54 countries.
