Television Corporation and Radio Corporation are going to form a joint venture

The media minister says that the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation and the Sri Lanka Radio Corporation, which are continuously making losses, will be converted into a public company.
This was revealed in the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Media Affairs.
That was when the said committee met in Parliament recently under the chairmanship of the Minister of Transport and Highways and Mass Media, Dr. Bandula Gunawardena.
Presenting the figures from 2015, the chairman pointed out how these two channels have made losses.
