Former President Donald Trump won the Republican primary election held in the state of Iowa, USA.
The first phase of selecting party candidates for that started yesterday (15) in the state of Iowa with the Republican nomination battle.
Florida Gove or Ron DeSantis finished second in the poll.
There was a tight race for second place between him and candidate Nikki Haley.
Meanwhile, a candidate named Vivek Ramaswamy of Indian origin from the Republican Party had also appeared and with Trump's victory, he has left the race.
The American presidential election is at the end of this year.
