Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is on a US visit.
He is scheduled to discuss with President Joe Biden at the White House today (12).
Prior to the visit, the Ukrainian president made an impassioned appeal stating that Ukraine needed more military aid.
Addressing a group of military officers, the President of Ukraine has stated that Ukraine is fighting not only for its freedom but also for global democracy.
US President Joe Biden asked Congress to provide $60 billion in military aid to Ukraine, but those requests were rejected on several occasions.
The President of Ukraine is also scheduled to meet Speaker Mike Johnson during this visit and present requests for military aid.
