Education Minister Dr. Susil Premajayantha said in Parliament today (5) that he has lea ed that all goods will be subject to VAT.

He also mentioned that he has requested the Ministry of Finance to exempt school children's exercise books and equipment from VAT.

The Minister said this in reply to a question raised by the Matara District Councilor Mr. Dallas Alahapperuma.
