Vocational education in the school for the students completing the A/L

Minister of Education Mr. Susil Premajayantha says that vocational education will be provided in the school itself from February to the students who finish the advanced level.
A program with practical training and theoretical rehearsal on professional education with information technology and English language knowledge is to be conducted.
The minister also said that this vocational training program is implemented in 299 selected schools in the island with the aim of directing students who complete their high school education to vocational education.
Students appearing for A/L Examination in January 2024 can register for this program before February 09.
The Minister of Education mentioned that further information in this regard can be obtained from the skill development officers of the Divisional Secretariat.
The Minister expressed these views in a program held at the Ministry of Education regarding this special career guidance program organized by the Skill Development Vocational Education, Research and Innovation Division of the Ministry of Education.
