Due to heavy rains, New York City has been flooded and airport operations have been disrupted. 

As a result, the tunnels were completely submerged and passengers had to wade through floodwaters to enter LaGuardia Airport.

Also, one terminal of the airport has been closed and nearly 200 flights have been delayed, according to foreign media reports.

In addition, a state of emergency has been declared for New York City.
