According to foreign media, around 100 people have been killed and many injured in a drone attack on a military academy in the city of Homs, Syria.

Drones carrying explosives targeted a graduation ceremony attended by families of cadets, killing women and children, according to reports.

Officials say the drone strike is believed to have come from opposition-held areas northwest of Homs.
