Mr. Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Transport, Highways and Mass Media stated in the Parliament today (11) that the background necessary to issue tickets of the Langama buses through an electronic card or QR system has been prepared in the past.

The minister says that it has now reached its final stage

Commenting further, the Minister has said that after the introduction of the relevant project in the next 2 months, the Ceylon Transport Board will avoid the daily loss of around one crore rupees.
