President's attention to the eradication of poverty of the people

Mr. Sagala Ratnayake, President's Senior Adviser on National Security and Chief of the Presidential Staff, says that President Ranil Wickramasinghe is giving priority to alleviating the poverty of the people of Sri Lanka and increasing the nutrition of children.
He mentioned that many programs have been implemented with the direction of the President.
He says that the 'Aswasuma' program, which was started on the idea of the President, is a pioneering mission for the eradication of poverty in Sri Lanka, so Aswasuma, which is not politicized at all, will make a strong contribution to the eradication of poverty of the people of Sri Lanka.
Mr. Sagala Ratnayake has emphasized this in a Colombo event.
Speaking further, Mr. Sagala Ratnayake pointed out that since it is essential to build the future generation as a healthy generation, nutrition is a factor that plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the country, not only to end hunger.
