Things to focus on in Sri Lanka to reach the target

President Ranil Wickramasinghe says that Sri Lanka is trying to build resilience to climate change while facing the worst financial crisis in decades.
He noted that by 2040, Sri Lanka needs $100 billion to become a net zero emission country.
He mentioned that Sri Lanka is focusing on loans as well as green financial tools in trying to reach that goal.
However, the President has also said that there are no immediate plans for a green economy.
The President says that he hopes that the economy will stabilize soon, and that investors who are interested in the project have been invited for foreign investment.
