Preparing to import cars for the SL market again

The Automobile Importers Association says that it is preparing to import cars for the Sri Lankan market again.
Accordingly, cars with engine capacity less than 1000CC are going to be imported.
Thus, the association has pointed out that measures are being taken to import only cars with minimum engine capacity to maintain foreign reserves.
The association further says that importing cars again is one of the objectives of raising income taxes.
Also, it is reported that the necessary work for the import of cars will be done within a short period of one month.
