India has decided to import monoclonal antibodies to fight against the 'Nipah' virus that is spreading in the Indian state of Kerala.
India said that these drugs are imported from Australia.
Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) chief Dr. Rajiv Bal says that India expects another 20 doses soon.
It is said that two people have died due to the virus and five people have also been infected in Kozhikode district.
The spread of 'Nipah' virus has been happening sporadically in the state of Kerala since 2018 and this time it is reported that the virus is spreading for the fourth time.
