Police say that 2,166 people have been arrested in the last 24 hours in the special operation conducted throughout the island.

Detention orders have been obtained against 66 of the arrested people and asset investigations have been started in relation to 14 suspects.

The police said that another 226 people have been sent to rehabilitation.

1 kg and 370 grams of heroin, 556 grams of ice, 7 kg and 800 grams of ganja, 3 kg and 500 grams of marijuana and 1,075 pills were also found in the operation.
