500,000 people have left northe Gaza, according to Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus, inte ational spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

The Israel Defense Forces maintain two safe evacuation routes, and foreign media say that it will be unsafe for civilians to remain in Gaza City as the military operation continues.

Lt. Col. noted that the bombing targeted people who were traveling on a road deemed safe by the Israeli military, and that they were not actively targeting civilians.

Foreign media reported that around 70 people died in this attack.
