Foreign media reports that authorities are racing against time to rescue 40 workers trapped in a collapsed tunnel in the northe Indian state of Uttarakhand.
Indian workers trapped in a tunnel for more than 72 hours were trapped there due to a landslide last Sunday while building the tunnel.
However, the foreign media previously reported that the officials were able to establish contact with the employees.
Authorities are said to be bringing fresh and more sophisticated drilling equipment from Delhi to speed up rescue operations.
Officials say the workers were trapped about 200 meters inside the tunnel and none of them were injured.
Rescuers have provided food, water and oxygen to people in the last 72 hours.
But it is still not clear how much time it will take to get them out of harm's way.
