Former President Maithripala Sirisena has left for America early today (12).
At 2.50 this mo ing, he left for New Delhi on the flight AI 284 belonging to the Indian Airlines, and will later leave for America.
Meanwhile, political sources state that the appointment of the new office bearer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Eksath Peramuna, the new alliance led by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, will take place after the foreign visit of former President Maithripala Sirisena.
