With the easing of import restrictions on tiles and sanitary goods, the prices of related products are falling rapidly, says the Tile and Sanitary goods Importers Association.

Its secretary Mr. Shamindra Gunasekara said that due to this situation there has been a revival in the construction sector.

Mr. Shamindra Gunasekara requested the gove ment that if further tax is imposed on this sector, the price of a tile will increase by 100 rupees again.
