The latest decision to prevent the spread of HIV

The National Sexually Transmitted Diseases and AIDS Prevention Program says that the installation of Condom Vending Machines will be restarted so that people can get condoms while traveling.

Dr. Janaki Vidyapathirana, director of the AIDS program, said that this project will be restarted to prevent the spread of HIV.

Since 2017, this Condom Vending Machine had been installed near railway stations and public places.

However, the project has been stalled due to the economic crisis of the last season, so it is planned to start it again.

There was a shortage of condoms from March to November this year, and 20 lakh condoms were imported last week.

Accordingly, these birth control sheaths are being provided free of charge to the people who visit the clinics.
