61 stranded tourists are rescued

Relief teams have rescued 61 tourists who were stranded in the middle of an avalanche in Gulmarg, North Kashmir.
The group of tourists had traveled to Gulmarg region last Saturday and got lost due to heavy snowfall.
Foreign reports stated that a special operation was launched by the Indian army and relief teams to rescue them and 61 tourists were found.
It is said that there are children and women among the rescued people.
Foreign reports further stated that Gulmarg is a world-famous tourist destination and due to heavy snowfall, access to the region has become very difficult.
