Another 986 suspects have been arrested under the Yukthiya Special Operation in the 24 hours that ended at 12:30 am today (20).

Yesterday, 667 suspects were arrested in relation to drug charges, and 498 grams of heroin and 143 grams of ice were taken into custody by the police.

Detention orders are to be obtained for 10 of the arrested suspects, and drug addicts are to be referred for rehabilitation.

In addition, 319 suspects and open warrants involved in various crimes were also arrested in yesterday's operations.
